Franklin Pours It On for a Good Cause!
If there’s one thing Franklin knows how to do, it’s throw a party with purpose. On November 1, the city’s most anticipated event, Wine Down Main Street returns for its 24th year, ready to turn downtown into a swirl of flavor, music, and good cheer. From 7 to 10 p.m., the historic Main Street will buzz with locals and visitors alike, wine glasses in hand, as more than 20 shops transform into tasting rooms for one unforgettable evening.
There’s a reason this night is affectionately known as “The Best Night Out All Year.” Guests can sip wines from around the world, sample bites from favorite local restaurants, and enjoy live performances from Braunzie Gurl, Elecoustic Soul, and the San Rafael Band, all against the charming backdrop of Franklin’s historic architecture and fall night air. It’s equal parts sophistication and Southern hospitality, with just enough buzz (pun intended!) to keep things lively.
A Toast to Giving Back
But the real magic of Wine Down Main Street isn’t in the pours, it’s in the purpose. Every ticket sold benefits the Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee, helping provide safe spaces, mentors, and programs for kids and teens across the region. That means your second glass of cabernet might just help fund after-school tutoring or summer enrichment programs that shape the next generation of leaders. Not a bad reason to raise a glass!
This year’s event is proudly sponsored by Lipman Brothers, Nashville’s oldest and largest wine and spirits distributor. They know a thing or two about pairing quality with community! Add in Franklin’s famously walkable downtown, a crowd that always shows up dressed to impress, and a soundtrack of local talent, and you’ve got the recipe for an event that’s as heartwarming as it is high-spirited.
The Pour-fect Night Out
For nearly a quarter-century, Wine Down Main Street has managed to blend everything people love about Franklin, good food, good music, and a good cause, into one fall evening that always delivers. Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned sipper, this is one night where every glass tells a story of community, connection, and care. Grab your tickets here!
