In Memphis, home has always meant more than four walls — it’s about belonging, safety, and community. For Black trans and queer folks, My Sistah’s House has become that home.

What started as a response to urgent needs — a safe place to sleep, support during crises, a hand to hold when the system turned its back — has grown into a movement for dignity. We’ve built tiny homes, provided life-saving housing support, and created spaces where people can breathe, dream, and thrive.

MSH isn’t just a nonprofit; it’s family. It’s where resilience meets love, where survival turns into joy, and where Memphis shows the South — and the world — what true community looks like.
