Wes opened the doors of AW Parker, PC on August 8, 1988, after working in the public and corporate accounting worlds.  He interned in public accounting throughout his four years of college.  His committed focus in offering tax plans and tax intelligent wealth management planning solutions unique to each of his clients is the fruit of over 35 years experience. 

AW Parker, PC is a full-service Accounting and Wealth Management firm, serving domestic and international clients.  Our domestic client base includes individuals and businesses located in twenty-nine states. 

Wes graduated from Christian Brothers University in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting and earned his Enrolled Agent with the United States Department of the Treasury designation in August 1995.  As an EA, Wes is Federally licensed to practice in all 50 states.  

As a former CAA for International Taxation, he has prepared returns for over 350 individuals living in Australia, South Africa, Greece, France, Italy, the Philippines and the United Kingdom as required for their interests in assets located in the United States as well as for Expats working abroad.   

For over 31 years, Wes represented clients (Individuals, Businesses and Large Corporations) before the IRS regarding issues ranging from employment taxes, state and local taxes, collections, audit, criminal compliance, offers in compromise and total business structuring.  He has served as a Taxpayer Liaison through the National Association of Enrolled Agents and the National Association of Tax Professionals. 

Professional licenses and designations include: Investment Adviser Representative, Series 6 Securities; Series 63 Securities; Life and Health Insurance; Variable Insurance; NSSA – National Social Security Advisor. 

Federal licenses:  EA – IRS Enrolled Agent Designation; CAA – Certified Acceptance Agent, IRS (retired) 

He is the current President of Forever Young Senior Veterans, a local non-profit serving our veterans 65 years and older.  Wes began as a volunteer for Forever Young in 2012 and since that time, has accompanied our veterans on 29 Trips of Honor to battlefields across Europe as well as trips to memorials in Washington, DC, Pearl Harbor, HI, and New Orleans, LA.  

Wes loves all things outdoors; whether camping, fishing, running marathons, or growing monster okra, tomatoes and hot peppers.
