Fall in Line for Fun!

Fall in Line for Fun!

If you’re the kind of person who gets giddy over hay bales, kettle corn, and the smell of woodcrafts in the morning, clear your calendar for Saturday, October 4th. Downtown McMinnville is flipping the switch on fall charm with its beloved Autumn Street Fair—a one-day wonder where the only traffic jam worth getting into is between the caramel apples and the handmade soap.

Hosted by Leadership McMinnville and Main Street McMinnville, this event turns the historic downtown into a vibrant corridor of local creativity and community pride. No velvet ropes here—just 200 vendors, two stages of live music, and 15,000 of your closest festival friends.

A Hometown Ritual Wrapped in Flannel

Forget big-box fairs or commercial overload—the Autumn Street Fair is McMinnville at its finest! You’ll find real folks, real crafts, and really good food. Here's the lowdown:

  • Artisan Alley: From hand-thrown pottery to fall-themed wreaths, local makers show off the kind of craftsmanship that’ll make you want to redecorate your porch.
  • Live Tunes All Day: Whether it’s bluegrass, gospel, or good ol’ rock ‘n’ roll, the music keeps your feet tapping and your shopping pace steady.
  • The Kids’ Zone: Bouncy houses, games, face painting—it’s a full-on kiddo carnival, minus the cotton candy crashes.
  • Food Booths Galore: Think smoked meats, fried pies, fresh-squeezed lemonade, and all the funnel cake your flannel can handle.

It’s free to attend, and runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.—just enough time to eat your way down one side of Main Street and shop your way back up the other.

Where Everybody Knows Your Pumpkin Spice

What makes this festival feel so…McMinnville? Maybe it’s the way the church bell chimes mix with fiddle music. Or the front porch chats happening between bites of barbecue. Or the fact that you’re bound to run into your elementary school teacher buying a birdhouse.

Whatever it is, this isn’t just an event. It’s an annual heartbeat—steady, welcoming, and unmistakably local.
