From Inspiration to Reality

Sherri and Scott’s journey to design and build River Place Treehouses began after a stay in a treehouse in western North Carolina in December 2019. It was creative and a fun experience, but we felt like we could do better. Most notably, that treehouse had an outdoor composting toilet and shower. We designed and crafted our treehouses to provide our guests with a modern, luxurious, cozy stay that keeps some of the fun aspects of childhood treehouses and combines them with engaging movie couple themes.

The five treehouses and main house are all located on a 57-acre farm alongside the West Fork Prong of the Little Pigeon River in downtown Sevierville Tennessee. The farm is used for hay production, and we have taken steps to keep the farm feel and provide our guests with the space and privacy that we appreciate. There is also a wedding/event venue on the property called The River Place.
