About RVC Optometry
RVC Optometry (Rogersville Vision Clinic) has been serving East Tennessee families with compassionate, expert eye care for more than four decades. Founded in 1979 by Dr. Eddie Abernathy, Jr., RVC has grown into a trusted network of family-friendly offices located in Rogersville, Weber City, and Knoxville.
Using the latest diagnostic technology, our doctors provide comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings, and management of ocular diseases including glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, and macular degeneration. We are also available for urgent eye care needs such as trauma, pain, redness, and foreign body removal. In addition, RVC offers a wide selection of high-quality frames and lenses, including many hard-to-find designer brands.

Eddie Abernathy, Jr., O.D.
Owner, Optometric Physician A Rogersville native, Dr. Abernathy founded Rogersville Vision Clinic in 1979. With more than 40 years of experience, he provides primary eye care, contact lens services, and specializes in the prevention, detection, and treatment of ocular disease.

Owner, Optometric Physician Dr. Amanda Dellinger joined RVC in 2008 and is now co-owner. Originally from Dublin, Georgia, she has a strong background in ocular pathology and provides primary eye care, contact lens fittings, and treatment of ocular disease.
