Dr. Purohit understands that some children experience dental anxiety, so she’s established a kid-friendly office environment. There’s a playroom in the lobby, surfboard-shaped dental chairs for teeth cleanings, and nitrous oxide sedation for little ones who have trouble sitting still.

Little Harpeth Children’s Dentistry™ understands that many children have unique medical needs. That’s why the office is very allergy-friendly. Dr. Purohit offers BPA-free sealants, low radiation digital X-rays, laser frenectomies, and tooth-colored mercury-free fillings. Our office is latex free, mercury-free, gluten free, N-hexane free, and all our products are free of the top 8 food allergens.

Dr. Purohit always encourages parents to join their children during oral exams and dental checkups. That’s because she believes that parents play a vital role in their children’s oral health care. Currently our team operates at two local surgery centers for full mouth dental rehabilitation under general anesthesia. Among many other organizations, Dr. Purohit is leading her colleagues as President of the Tennessee Pediatric Dental Society.
