Lightfoot Farmstead

We’re Wesley and Ali Lightfoot! High school sweethearts turned farmers, we married in 2015 and bought the land that became Lightfoot Farmstead in 2016. What started with a few chickens and beef cows has grown into a diverse farm with Jersey dairy cows, pasture-raised beef, pigs, and rotationally grazed meat chickens.

Ali, a math teacher with no farming background, quickly fell in love with the farm, while Wesley brought his lifelong experience. Together we’ve learned, adapted, and expanded—milking cows by hand, investing in equipment, and slowly growing our herd and flocks.

Our animals are pasture-raised and cared for the way we’d want our own food raised—on grass, sunshine, and supplemented with the right nutrition for quality and flavor. We’re thankful for the support of our community that allows us to share what we love and provide wholesome, local food for your family.
