Elite Martial Athletics

Elite Martial Athletics is a family-owned martial arts school in Maryville, Tennessee, founded by husband-and-wife team Albert and Amanda Cole. We created Elite to be more than a place where students learn techniques and earn belts. Our mission is to help children, teens, and adults develop the confidence, character, discipline, and resilience they need to succeed both inside and outside the school.

Master Albert Cole brings more than 40 years of martial arts experience, along with an extensive background in Taekwondo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, kickboxing, Muay Thai, and practical self-defense. His experience as a champion, professional coach, and lifelong instructor is matched by a genuine commitment to helping every student recognize and reach their potential. Amanda brings years of experience in martial arts school leadership, student development, family engagement, and building strong school communities.

Elite offers instruction in Taekwondo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, practical self-defense, sport karate, weapons, and competitive training. However, what truly distinguishes our school is its culture. Every student is known, encouraged, challenged, and celebrated. We believe martial arts should develop strong athletes, humble leaders, responsible citizens, and people who have the courage to persevere when life becomes difficult.

Our motto, “Train with Honor, Grow with Purpose,” guides everything we do. Through the values of courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, indomitable spirit, and victory, we are building a community where families grow together and every accomplishment matters.

Being nominated for Tennessee’s Best is especially meaningful to us because Elite is still a young school. It represents the trust of our families, the dedication of our students, and the community that has supported our vision from the beginning.
