Knoxville Children's Theatre

Knoxville Children’s Theatre, an education-based 501(c)(3) non-profit, is a local theatre company producing professional plays for children, by children.  KCT's mission is to "Inspire creativity and passion in children through the creation of live theatre." KCT is the creative hub for youth in the East Tennessee region. KCT provides education and hands on training in all aspects of live production.

KCT is committed to providing children opportunities to acquire and hone skills that enhance creative thinking, public speaking, project management, personal responsibility, leadership, and team work. All of these opportunities occur in a creative outlet where imagination thrives, self-esteem develops, and students learn the many life lessons that creative dramatics can teach.

Many children find their passion and their purpose in the arts, but there are not many opportunities for children to explore and train in the arts without a significant financial investment. At KCT, every child has the opportunity to participate and receive training at no cost.
