Horse Plus Humane Society

Horse Plus Humane Society is a U.S.-based nonprofit founded in 2003 dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming horses, dogs, cats and other animals in need. Their signature programs include Equine Rescue & Rehabilitation, the Small Animal Services (PAWS) spay/neuter and adoption initiative, and a nationwide Horse Shelter Network. Operating on a 50-acre Tennessee campus with on-site veterinary care, they’ve rescued over 12,000 animals and raised more than $12 million. Through legislative advocacy, the Horse Plus Foundation, and a weekly “Horse Shelter Heroes” video series, they champion long-term support and awareness for animal welfare.
