Nestled on peaceful Cagle Mountain in Dunlap, Tennessee, Little Tail Farms is a boutique farm-stay where cozy meets countryside. From March through October, Saturdays begin with our storybook farm tour, and every day ends under a sky full of stars.

Mornings greet you with the soft bleats of goats, afternoons stretch into playful pastures and wide valley views, and evenings settle slow by a crackling fire.

Stay With Us

Choose from two unique farm-stays:

Highland Cottage

A private tiny house tucked beside our Highland cattle pasture. Enjoy pasture views, a fire pit, and cozy touches for two.

Farmstay Apartment

A spacious apartment above the detached garage with a full kitchen, a balcony porch, and room for family memory-making.

Included with both stays: self check-in, stocked essentials, and plenty of peace.

Things To Do on the Farm

• Meet and feed friendly goats, sheep, alpacas, donkeys, and more. Treats provided.
• Wander the pastures and admire our Scottish Highland cattle. 
• Swing in a hammock, sip coffee on the porch, or watch the fireflies dance at dusk.
• Join our Saturday Farm Tour, March through October at 10 AM Central. A guided walk through the farm, included for overnight guests staying Friday nights.
