We are a small family owned and operated Hobby Shop, specializing in Model Railroading. During the past 15+ years we have dabbled in many other hobby areas especially in the R/C world, but the bottom has fallen out in this area, so we are liquidating all our remaining R/C stock at cost or less, and returning to our basics - Model Railroading and wooden and plastic models,

For a small storefront we carry a very large inventory from all the major manufacturers, ordering stock replenishment and special customer orders on a weekly basis. What make us different from most large Hobby Stores is our Customer Service. We pride ourselves on our customized service to ascertain what our customer needs are. Then, based on our 56+ years in the hobby, and experience with both DC and DCC systems, we attempt to assist our customers by providing the best possible advice on the most cost effective ways to achieve their desires.

Although we do have a small presence on the Internet, with an informational website, a small eBay Store, over 95% of our customers are In-Store customers, or repeat customers placing a telephone order from one of our numerous States within the USA.

Due to several medical events over the past 4 years, we have been forced to reduce our Store Hours from 6 days a week to to three days per week (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) from Noon to 4 PM Central time. We try to assist our customers find what they are looking for and have relatively good success with our 3 Distributors and over 25 Direct Accounts with various Manufacturers.
