The National Confederate Museum at Historic Elm Springs

The National Confederate Museum, set within the 1837 Greek-Revival Elm Springs mansion and an 18,500-sq-ft carriage-house gallery on 80 acres near Columbia, Tennessee, serves as the national headquarters of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. Privately funded and opened in 2020, it immerses visitors in a Southern perspective on the Civil War through rotating and permanent exhibits, original artifacts and a dedicated research library. Guided tours of both the modern museum galleries and the historic plantation estate, along with educational outreach and membership programs, invite locals and history enthusiasts to explore the causes, conduct and lasting legacy of America’s defining conflict.
