Helping Hands Of Hickman County

Since 2005, Helping Hands has been a trusted 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting the citizens of Hickman County during times of need. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to provide assistance with everyday essentials and to stand as a reliable resource when disaster strikes.

Programs and Services

• Thursday Mobile Food Giveaway – Every Thursday from 9:30 AM–1:00 PM, we distribute food to families through our mobile drive, open to all counties.

• In-House Food Pantry – Qualified Hickman County residents can receive pantry boxes every other month.

• Utility Assistance – Eligible residents may receive up to $100 toward one utility bill per year.

• Clothing Assistance – Residents in need can access clothing support once a year.

• Special Food Trucks – Throughout the year, we host additional food distributions to expand access for families.

Volunteer EngagementHelping Hands is powered by people who care. From community service and TN Promise hours to college credit and homeschool opportunities, we provide meaningful ways for individuals to give back and make a difference.
